I have no idea how its rolled around so quickly. It was Summer just last week! Now it is raining, cold and October half term is at the doorstep. Here are eight ideas to keep the children busy
, Halloween is looming. This means trick or treat for many! Have fun decorating costumes from household items. I used to make my scary witch outfit using a bin bag. My cat was made of stuffed black socks with a face drawn on.
, Pumpkin decorating! This can be fun for adults too! You could even go and pick your own pumpkin with pumpkin fields all around the UK. A quick google will help find your nearest one.
, In London? Always wanted to go up to the top of the shard. Well, now you can. This half term, each paying adult can bring two children for free to the viewing platform. Great!
, In the mood for films? Lets face it, the weather probably will be. Hotel Transylvania is a funny film for both adults and children alike. Give it a try! (You can buy it really cheaply on amazon)
, Ride the world’s tallest slide. I mean who wouldn’t want to do that..!? Suitable for children over 8 and adults too! Believe me, it’s fast.
, Visit the ‘Circus of Horrors’. With many shows nationwide, this is the place to see bold acts, guts of steel and tricks you never thought possible. They’re touring nationwide and many tickets are 241!
, Is your child a dinosaur fan? If so, this exhibition is a must. Visitors can find out how dinosaurs lived, what they did and how they looked after their eggs. Perfect for all ages.
, Live in or near Cardiff? Why not help build the Wickerman in time for bonfire night? If that sounds like a yes, then visit St Fagans National museum!
