Children's Clocks

Decorating a Bedroom with Children's Wall Clocks available on Becky and Lolo: http://www.beckyandlolo.co.uk/

Children like having their own clock in their bedrooms, not only because it adds a decorative touch, but because it can help them learn to tell time. Instead of selecting just an average plain wall clock, individually hand-painted clocks in unique designs can add just the right decorative and fun touch to a child's room. Because each clock is hand-painted, each one is slightly unique and special, just like every child.

The wall clocks featured here are battery powered, which means you can hang or display them wherever you would like. The clocks are easy to hang on the wall, and in some cases, are designed so that they can be free-standing as well. These clocks have a second hand, so they do make a slight ticking sound. While most children actually find this ticking sound to be soothing, if desired, you can gently remove the second hand from the clock, so that it operates silently.

Animal Motif Shaped Clocks

Animals are always a popular motif for a child's room, and there are a number of wall clocks that feature cute animals. In fact, many of these animal motif clocks are also great for older children, and can be fun designs even for adults. A few of the featured animal clocks include a shaped design and they can be used either as a wall clock, or a free-standing clock. Powered by an AA size battery, these clocks are available in a pink cat, frog, chicken, dog, cow and ladybird motifs.

Shaped Wooden Wall Clocks

One line of uniquely shaped wooden wall clocks was designed by a French artist and designer, and each clock individually handcrafted. These clocks are designed on a 3 mm thick wooden base, which is carefully finished so that there aren't any sharp edges. These artistic clocks are decorated with hand-painted figures, which are attached to the wooden base, and are powered by an AA size battery. Motifs include space, tree, safari, heart, mushroom, pirate, farm, flower and princess clocks, each colourfully painted and accessorized.

Round Children's Wall Clocks

Round wall clocks are a classic, but they take on a whole new decorative look and feel when they are individually hand-painted in unique child-friendly designs and colours. The numbers are large and clearly printed on these clocks, which makes it easy for small children who are just starting to learn to tell time. Powered by an AA battery, these clocks come in a variety of designs, perfect for young boys and girls. Some of the patterns would also make a great wall clock for older children, as well as adults. Cute animal motifs include a cat, Zen cat, and cow, as well as a butterfly clock, bugs and bee’s clock, an under-the-sea motif, and a sweet cherries clock. There is a little princess clock in pretty pink for girls, and a little prince clock in blue for boys, both with adorable designs. Girls also love the cute pink strawberry fairy clock or pink ballerina clock, while boys will adore the Viking, pirate, bulldozer digger, and knight clock styles.
