Cushion - Blue Horse
The "Dream-Anies" range are the creation of Munich based designer Angela Friedl. She has been making patchwork creations for 20 years for her own children and over the years has developed her own unique style. The result is a collection of exquisite comfy cushions that will win over everyone’s heart, not only that of your children.
The front of the Blue Horse is made from 20 squares cut from different cotton fabrics. It is lined with a polyester fleece to make the cushion stronger and to give it a softer, warmer feel. To finish off the front, an appliqué heart is sewn on top of the patchwork.
The back of the blue horse is made from soft blue cotton gingham fabric. The cushion cover can be opened at the back and is kept closed with Velcro closures.
The cushion itself (cotton outer, polyester stuffing) can easily be removed for washing or for replacement.
The head and legs are made from soft cotton plush and the closed eyes are individually sewed on by hand.
Each and every one of these cushions is individually hand made in Europe by Angela Friedl. Due to the variation in the availability of different fabrics, no two cushions will be the same.
The quality and workmanship on these cushions is unlike anything else we have seen. This is a beautiful and timeless gift.
